Foresters Commits $6.25 Million to Support Children's Miracle Network's Radiothon Program Through 2013
Foresters Also Launches The Search for North America's Most Caring Radio Station, Will Award $50,000 to One Station to Benefit a Children's Miracle Network Hospital

SALT LAKE CITY (Jan. 18, 2010) – ForestersTM, a life insurance provider that champions the well-being of families, has renewed its commitment as the international underwriter of Children's Miracle Network's Radiothon program. Foresters support of Children's Miracle Network, an international nonprofit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children's hospitals, spans 20 years and three countries - the US, Canada and the UK.

Foresters will provide more than $6 million over the next four years to underwrite the costs of the Radiothon program, ensuring all dollars raised during Radiothon remain with the local hospitals. Foresters became the founding sponsor of Radiothon in 1998; since that time, $370 million has been raised through the Children's Miracle Network Radiothon program to ensure all children have access to the quality specialized health care they deserve.

"Foresters purpose is to enhance the well-being of families through our support of children's health and healthy family time," said George Mohacsi, president and CEO, Foresters, and an active member of Children's Miracle Network's Board of Governors. "Children's Miracle Network is a natural partner for Foresters as we both share a passion to provide the best medical care for children and to support their families in times of need."

"Radiothons are one of the most successful Children's Miracle Network fundraising programs of all time," said Scott Burt, president and CEO, Children's Miracle Network. "In an economic climate where many non-profit organizations are losing sponsor support, Foresters has demonstrated its commitment to children's health by pledging their underwriting support for this vital fundraising program."

To generate additional support and attention for the Radiothon program, Foresters and Children's Miracle Network have launched The Search for North America's Most Caring Radio Station. Everyone is encouraged to visit radiocares.childrensmiraclenetwork.org to vote for the Children's Miracle Network Radiothon partner of their choice. The radio station with the most votes at the end of the four-week campaign will win $50,000 to put toward its 2010 Radiothon total, which will benefit its Children's Miracle Network hospital. The campaign runs Monday, Jan. 18, 2010 through Friday, Feb. 5, 2010.

Children's Miracle Network currently engages more than 340 stations to participate throughout North America in the Radiothon program. Radiothon dollars are used to fund life-saving medical care, preventative education programs and research into childhood diseases. In addition to its generous financial support, Foresters volunteers commit countless hours to their local Children's Miracle Network hospitals.
