Foresters donates $50,000 to Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders to aid Haiti relief efforts
TORONTO, ON, January 15, 2010 – In the wake of this week's devastating earthquake in Haiti, ForestersTM, is donating $50,000 to Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders to help support their disaster relief efforts.
"We are shocked and saddened by the tragic event in Haiti and offer our deepest condolences to all Haitians," said Foresters President and CEO, George Mohacsi. "Foresters has a long tradition of mutual aid and a deep commitment to the well-being of families and communities. Through our support of the Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders relief efforts, Foresters hopes to provide compassionate medical help to families and communities in Haiti."
