Coping with an injured or seriously ill child significantly impacts the well-being of an entire family. Families facing such a situation need more than just medical attention - they may require assistance caring for other children, counseling, or just simple compassion.

Children's Miracle Network
Children's hospitals provide families with the support they need. That's why Foresters supports children's hospitals across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom through our long-standing partnership with Children's Miracle Network, a non-profit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children's hospitals.

As founding sponsor and international underwriter of the Radiothon program, Foresters helps pay for costs associated with the program so funds raised stay local. Over the past 20 years, Foresters has helped Children's Miracle Network hospitals raise over $370 million.
Radiothons are a cooperative effort among Children's Miracle Network hospitals, Foresters, community-minded radio stations and volunteers. The format includes patient stories and interviews to involve listeners, and to encourage them to call with a pledge in support of their local children's hospital.

Foresters Teddy Bear Build Program
At teddy bear build events, members create stuffed animals for donation to children being treated at children's hospitals. These events are a great way to introduce young family members to volunteerism as the custom-made teddy bears are fun to make and offer local sick kids much needed comfort and support.
